About Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay is a natural rock bay formation on Bostwick Island
that has been transformed into a summer place of worship for all.
On Sunday afternoons during the summer, worshippers who come to Half Moon Bay, remain in their boats to sing hymns, listen to guest speakers and participate in a non-denominational Christian service. The "Cathedral" is inspirational, humbling and natural. Services are at 4:00 p.m. and there is pick up by our free ferry service at the PUC docks at 3 p.m.

Half Moon Bay and Covid-19

It is with great sadness that the directors of Half Moon Bay announce that they are cancelling this season’s services. It was a difficult decision, and one we don’t take lightly, but in light of the current situation, and not knowing where things will be at this summer, it is one we had to make.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to when this is all over seeing our many friends, from both sides of the boarder, in the sunshine, on the water, at our blessed spot.

Take care. Stay healthy and safe and we will see you next season.
